  • How do i transfer my license to a new computer? Was this helpful? 44

    If your computer crashes and you require a new license for your replacement computer please install the ZipCloud application on the new computer and then email support@ZipCloud.com with the name of your old computer and the name of the computer you wish to change the license to.

  • I have paid but my account is telling me to upgrade. Was this helpful? 34

    In some cases orders are held for additional verification. If your order is held you will not be granted full access to the program until your order has completed. To expedite the process please email orders@ZipCloud.com

    From time to time we hear this enquiry from our customers. The order form displays the equivilant monthly price then immediately displays the term it is paid over next to it. in the case of 4.95 the term of 2 years upfront is immediately next to it, thus making it 118.80.

    We try to make this as clear as possible and are trying to help our customers by offering a cheaper price for a longer commitment. We also understand that some customers are confused by this, we are of course happy to refund any users who feel they have been overcharged and will happily downgrade the account to monthly billing.

    ZipCloud offers a large number of plans to use from; all offering unlimited backup space, file sharing and 1GB of sync space.

    Plans range from 4.95 a month if paid 2 years upfront (total of 118.80), to 9.95 a month if paid monthly.

  • Why does my bank statement show multiple charges for one purchase? Was this helpful? 5

    The majority of support enquiries we receive about this issue is the result of the bank displaying the authorisation on the statement, authorisations are part of normal bank processing and are automatically resolved by your bank. Authorizations are removed as soon as the actual charge is applied however some banks can take a couple of days to resolve them.

    In most cases banks inform the customer about the authorisation with a visual hint, such as using 'pending' in the description. Authorizations ensure that there is enough money in your account before any funds are transferred.

    We understand that sometimes users accidentally select the wrong payment plan.

    If you wish to convert your account to monthly billing, this is not a problem. We will happily refund you the difference and move you to a monthly plan.

    We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Paypal. Unfortunately we are not able to accept JCB, Diners Club, Cheque or Cash.

    If you have attempted to pay using one of the following payment methods and it has declined it would be worth contacting your card provider to query the reason for the decline.

  • Can I have an invoice for my ZipCloud Subscription Was this helpful? 10

    You certainly can. When you first signed up for your ZipCloud Subscription an invoice would have been emailed to the email address you signed up with, please be sure to check your junk folders.

    You can also view account billing history and any previous invoices by logging into the online control panel and selecting 'My Account' from the left hand side bar. https://account.ZipCloud.com/account Invoices will be located under 'Transaction History'

  • I have unrecognized or unauthorised charges relating to ZipCloud, who can I speak to? Was this helpful? 12

    If you have received a charge from ZipCloud that is unrecognized, unauthorized or completely unfamiliar to you, rest assured, we are more than happy to refund it back to you and investigate how it could have occurred.

    Please note that discussing an unrecognized charge with us will result in a much quicker refund that raising an investigation through a card provider, we fully understand the distress an unrecognized charge can cause and our friendly staff are there to get the situation resolved.

  • My renewal price has increased, why? Was this helpful? 3

    If you signed up on a discounted rate it will have been applicable for the first bill only, all future bills will be for the standard price.

  • Why do you keep taking funds from my PayPal account? Was this helpful? 5

    By default when you have chosen to pay via PayPal a PayPal subscription will be set up.

    A PayPal subscription is a recurring payment of which the billing frequency and amount are defined by us but it is completely controlled by the owner of the PayPal account.

    Therefore if you choose to pay by an alternative payment method or change the billing frequency of your account it is vital you change or cancel any PayPal subscriptions you have set up to pay us.

    If you have cancelled your ZipCloud account with us but have left your PayPal subscription running and then been billed don't panic, we fully understand the situation and would request that you email billing@ZipCloud.com and let us know either your PayPal email address or the PayPal Unique Transaction ID(s). We can then easily refund these back to you and guide you through cancelling the subscription if need be.
